Ask what the rental includes (tables, chairs, linens, setup and cleanup), whether you must use their caterer or bar service, how many guests the space holds, and the deposit and cancellation terms. Get it all in a written contract.
Ask about parking, accessibility, a rain plan for outdoor events, and end times, since some venues have noise limits.
