Appliance repair in Monona, WI

Choosing an appliance repair service in the Madison area

Have the brand, model and serial number ready when you call (usually on a sticker inside the door or on the back). Ask whether they service your brand, what the trip or diagnostic fee is, and whether that fee goes toward the repair.

If the appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, call the manufacturer first; they may require an authorized servicer. For an older machine, ask for the repair estimate before work begins, since replacing can make more sense once repairs approach half the cost of a new one.

Ask how long the repair is guaranteed for, covering both parts and labor.
