Things to do
Free things to do in Madison, WI: museums, gardens, tours and more
A lot of Madison's best days out cost nothing. The zoo is free, the big art museums are free, and the Capitol gives free tours every day. Every item here was checked on its own official site in November 2026. Where something is free only at certain times, or parking or extras cost money, we say so.
