Milin's Ice Cream on Independence Lane serves authentic Mexican ice cream and handmade treats, with ice cream made on site from fresh fruit. Founder Armida set out to recreate the ice cream and paletas of her childhood in a Mexican town plaza, and the menu includes paletas, the Ezquimal (ice cream dipped in chocolate with toppings), chocolate-dipped frozen bananas, fruit cups, milkshakes and smoothies. There's a second shop in Fitchburg.
